4-H reaches more than 110,000 youth in Colorado annually, helping them to become confident, independent, resilient and compassionate leaders. To accomplish this, we rely on over 10,000 volunteers each year. Please join us in this rewarding endeavor.

4-H volunteer opportunities include:

When you volunteer, you can gain experience working alongside youth in a variety of ways including:

  • Animals: Gain experience working alongside youth with a variety of animals and livestock, including sheep, goats, pigs, cattle, rabbits, and chickens.
  • Creative arts: Learn to create art in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, visual arts, photography, leather arts, and more.
  • STEM: Jump in and learn about computers, robotics, rocketry, metalworking, woodworking, and more.
  • Leadership: Build skills in global citizenship and leadership.
