Colorado Master Gardener

Who are Master Gardeners?

Colorado State Extension Master Gardeners are volunteers who work in gardens across the state. They begin as apprentices and enroll in a program to become certified. Master Gardeners support educational school gardens, help grow food for communities, and encourage pollinators. Master Gardeners enhance Coloradans’ quality of life by helping individuals make informed decisions about plants, and fostering successful gardeners.
