Colorado State University connects with communities across the state through the Office of Engagement and Extension. RamCorps members help by providing people power and building capacity at local Extension offices.
RamCorps member roles are driven by personal interests and passions.

Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS)
A service and outreach agency of the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University. The CSFS is committed to providing timely, relevant forestry information and education to the citizens of Colorado to achieve resilient forests and communities.
Denver Urban Gardens
Focuses on community-driven initiatives that promote urban agriculture, sustainability, and nutrition education, empowering residents to create healthier and more connected communities.


Agribusiness Management Team
Empowering communities through educational programs and resources that support sustainable agricultural practices, business management, and economic development in rural areas.

Nope! Any member of the community is welcome to serve with the CSUE AmeriCorps Program.
- You must be 18+ years old
- Pass a background check
- Show proof of US citizenship or permanent residency
- You must not have reached your service term limit (4 terms)
We strive to place members within their communities of residence. Reach out to program staff to see what local opportunities are available!
The CSUE AmeriCorps Program offers a bi-weekly living allowance based on the member’s slot type (three-quarter time, half-time, etc.).

Colorado State University Extension and AmeriCorps established a partnership in 2015.
Ever since, CSU has been an AmeriCorps State program funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) through Serve Colorado – The Governor’s Commission on Community Service.
