Grow & Give
The unique Grow & Give program continues to address food insecurity in Colorado by connecting backyard and community gardens to food donation sites across the state. Our program provides resources to help you both ‘Grow’ and ‘Give’ part of your harvest to those in need.

Colorado Master Gardener
The CSU Colorado Master Gardener volunteer network enhances Coloradan’s quality of life by using horticulture to empower gardeners, develop partnerships and build stronger communities.

Colorado 4-H Volunteers
Volunteers are the heart of Colorado 4-H. Every year, they help reach, engage, and support thousands of Colorado youth. As a 4-H volunteer, you can play a critical role as both a mentor and role model for young people in your community.
A growing, giving program
Help CSU and our partner organizations address food insecurity in Colorado. In 2020, Grow & Give had almost 600 registered home and community gardens across 37 Colorado counties. As a statewide project, more than 46,500 pounds of produce were donated in local Colorado communities.
Even with a small yard, you can grow quite a bit of food. It gives you a reason to be outside and get dirty and nurture something. It’s very satisfying!
